Tired

Way back in the beginning of time, we had a set of twins. We were anxious. We didn't know what we were doing. We wondered how we ever thought we would be able to do it. And we struggled through sleep deprivation until one day we seemed to begin to wake up.

That was a big mistake. We were hit with the second wave of twins. We can do this. We made it through the first set. We know how this works now. Then we had twins who will not sleep, and we realized that the first set were a piece of cake compared to this.

Above is Sunday morning. That is not black construction paper over the windows. That is just how black it still was outside when our lovely daughters decided it was time to start their day.

Well, well, early to bed....

Maybe they are thinking, "We'll please Dad with out getting up before dawn and getting ready to go like military people do," routine?

Dare I ask HOW LONG the play time lasted before it was back to bed? Your only salvation was it was Sunday.

Still, how can you get too upset at two cuties like that?!

That was 5:30 in the morning. They went down for a nap at 12:30 that afternoon.

When it is dark and I can't see them, they really aren't that cute.

Oh for the day they are old enough to head downstairs, grab the honeycomb box themselves and click the correct buttons on the remote.

Do you let the girls snack on each other like you clearly did the boys?

Maybe that's it- they just need a little sibling forehead in the middle of the night...
