After all the planning, planting, and plotting, you just have to have a gold facial from time-to-time.  

Spring Fever

With all of this time out of school, there is time to do some research. 

And take my garlic from the pantry and grow it yourself.... 

And maybe talk your dad into buying some lumber. 

Because you have  time to plan a garden. 

Or many gardens. 

And then you have a day left over to stain your raised flower beds. 

It is starting to look like spring around here for real now.

The kids are on year round school 9 weeks on and 3 off. 

Somehow it seems the other way around. 

And even they are having to dig deep to entertain themselves. 

Here is breakfast brought to you in the form of pancakes. 

But these macaroons?

They had to make a double batch the next day to keep up with demand.

Day two was far less crowded and gorgeous.

And we were off.
