I meandered through Target for two hours and talked with Patric, just talked. I can count on one hand the times in the past six months I've done that. Actually, I can count on one finger the times in the past six months I've done that.
And without further delay, click here to see why my kids didn't mind me abandoning them and how good, brave friends sustain me.

The Kings are one terrific family and Stuber friend! Your sanity is certainly worth saving.
I love Emily's porcelain doll cheeks!
Sounds like a wonderful Saturday! Even with only one child, I can appreciate the joys of shopping ALONE! But I can only imagine how much joy it brings with 4 little ones and a deployed husband!
Kudos to The Kings! I'll bet Emily enjoys playing with the Stuberoos and Stuberettes. Does Daddy King enjoy a little guy time, too? Mama King must be amused at all the kids!
What a sweet gift of weekend time you gave Mrs. S.
Pappa King is the photographer!
The Kings are definitely Keepers! It sounds like a win/win for everyone...little Emily got a play date with the Stuberoos (4x the fun)and Susan received a much-needed respite at Target. If I love going to Target, I can only imagine how blissful it must be for you :-)
Yes, we had a wonderful time, and I knew this already, but it really struck me a week or so back that you are literally on a mission every second of every day. A few hours with no timeclock was the least we could do.
Yes, Noltes. Mark enjoyed a little guy-time with Ben and Nic. He actually drove them around. The "simple" task of loading and unloading 4 Stubers has made Susan even more of a superwoman in his book.
Oh, I know just what Mark is talking about. I struggle with two car seats with The Dukes. One day, they cheered when I got Ian strapped, snapped, buckled and harnessed properly all by myself!
