We have this rule about helping me make dinner--only one can help. They'll repeat the rule to me as they all drag their chairs to the counter thinking they are each the one that gets to help. This night I lost, but Ben was there with his sword for crowd control...

Great training for little chefs.
Oh for the day when you and Patric can kick back while they all have an assigned dish to prepare.
I'm with We Three Kings!! The day will be here before you know it...
All I can see is a STOVE and 8 little hands near it! I know it's not ON, but still...
Oh, JB it's on--we're making pasta. They probably have ketchup all over their dirty little faces as well.
Just so no corn dogs were resting on the floor, I can say I'm ok with the ketchup faces and the boiling pasta.
JB- you and I would be fast friends, I think! Yes, they are lucky to be helping with stovetop cooking. Our boys are relegated to helping with baking exclusively and their part takes place at the table. I figure if Henry's going to be eating astronaut food and the fire bell is going to ring before Ian ever gets to eat- why train them to cook now? :)
