Seemingly no fear. She's always been this way. It comes across as innate confidence that is stunning.
Fiercely independent in most ways.
During dinner she'll often get up from her chair and come give me a hug and say "thank you" even though she hardly eats anything.
Capable of just hanging out alone, which is a hard skill to learn in our house. She'll often wander outside and play alone for half an hour or more just picking grass or practicing swinging. Catch her eye through the window and she'll smile or stick out her tongue and then she's on her way.

I totally agree there! If anyone can't tell the girls apart by looks, simply take a bit of time to observe.
Alida = No holds barred, fierce girl with a stare that draws you into her world, but doesn't ask for any help with anything.
Elaine = more fragile and girly who will come up and hold your hand just because.
Both are absolutely lovely!
These are little women I want to meet.
Gran of The Dukes
Perfect description Jennifer. Strange how different they can be.
That last picture of her- and the one on the swing too- is absolutely darling. I love her innate confidence and I can't wait to see where that takes her!
You really can tell the difference. I was only with them 3 or 4 times when Jenny was your nanny. But by the time they were 6 months old I could tell the difference within 10 minutes. Both very sweet and lovely! But definitely each is her own person.
Is that one "mine"?
WOW for the pictures. She is gorgeous.
