They just moved into official pre-school and aren't considered daycare any longer. This equals uniforms. Considering the fact that I usually pay about a buck a shirt used--I actually have increased clothing cost now. But we can put a long sleeve T under them in the winter, extending the seasonal nature of the short sleeve.
Oh dear! They will be 4 soon, won't they?! That's hard to believe! I still think uniforms for preschool is a bit much! What is the reasoning behind that? I'm sure most of those kids will be in county schools for kindergarten and there are no uniforms there. So it's not to prepare them for big-kid school.
Dukes: They wear legwarmers in winter. Don't you know they're back in style? Only khaki or navy however.
MJ: I believe our institution would prefer to believe that they are preparing the pre-Ks for private school, preferably their private school program, which includes K and 1st grades now.
I for one hope you will be putting your children in public schools (assuming they are in a couty school district). I think uniforms are stupid, but I'm sure easier on moms. Just more rules to have to follow.
All I have to say is, They look great! Little Dudes, all dressed out for school, too cool.
At first I didn't notice the "uniforms," what I did notice was that Gentle Ben was being "studious," while Nicholas was, well, being Nicholas:) And he does it so very well!!

Love it! How much easier is that- as long as it's affordable to buy 10 of those polos at once, you're golden!
Is this for real? They have to wear uniforms to day care?

Can they wear jeans under the shorts in winter?

They look adorable now & will be so stylin' with their long t-shirts under for winter! BTW, the b&w fotos remind me of me and mine - nice touch.

Long tees and legwarmers, Mom rocks!!
Yes, GrannyE. The uniform seemed to make zero difference to them--Benjamin still won't get his picture taken and Nicholas is still a hambone.
