School Days

Look at all those little bits of hair.

This is one of our favorite places to take the kids on a walk because they love it.
The maze of walkways.
The closed up buildings.
The creaky stairs.
The signs admonishing you to sign in elsewhere.
The permanence in what should be a temporary atmosphere.

This is the elementary school.
Patric says it reminds him, not fondly, of Bosnia.
Under-built would be one way of putting it I guess.

How absolutely horrible! Poor kids. Can you imagine that being your first taste of school?

I cannot cite one school in TX that doesn't have the temporary/permanent/ buildings...

Your imaginative prose never ceases to amaze me...it always invites a much deeper, almost subliminal perspective:-) Great stuff!

You can only hope that what is taking place on the inside is far more exciting than what's on the outside. Quite depressing.

At least it gives a great place to take a walk.
