It Wouldn't Be An Outing Without a Hitch

Friday: Load kids in minivan. Drive to Nashville. Wrestle them to bed in hotel.
Saturday: Get on hotel shuttle. Go to airport. Fly to Kansas City. Drive with grandparents to Nebraska.

Tuesday: Drive back to KC. Get on plane and fly to Nashville. Get in car. Wait we can't get in the car, the battery is dead...
Believe it or not, I was starting to think we wouldn't have any interesting stories to tell because they did such an incredible job as travelers. The loudest they got on the airplane was when they started into hysterical fits of laughter when we landed.
We got the battery in the car fixed; I'm fixing the battery in the camera now...

First solo extended trip, which also invovled an airplane ride, and the words "incredible fits of laughter" are included in the description... awesome!

You flew!! Hooray! I will get you to Colorado yet.

Those girls know exactly what to do for Easter picturing and they've had less Easters. Nicholas, Benjamin! Look alive boys, it's picture time! They are adorable, all four of them.

I am so amazed. How do you manage all of them and their car seats!? How do grands fit everyone in their car!? How can you travel so far and not have your own meltdown!? How do you get them such cute outfits for Easter!? You could rule a MEDIUM-sized nation.

Those are mighty impressive travel plans and I'm thrilled your brood handled it so supremely. And yes, I vote for a medium -or even large nation.

Holy cow thats a handsome Easter picture!
Are there any more details to share on the driving/flying/shuttling/hoteling adventure...as if returning to a dead battery weren't enough?
You know you're a super-woman...
