Pirates of the Caribbean played all weekend at our house. This was Ben's first pirate ship.
When I rolled my eyes at that, he got constructive and made this.
Then Nicholas got all competitive and made this.
So Ben made three pirate ships and staged epic battles that we all had to watch.
Everyone but Nicholas watched because he snuck away to construct this.Sheesh. I can't wait until they're competing for the affections of a girl some day.

Those engineering marvels took some time and effort. How nice for you!
Competing for the same girl is ok, but tell them not to compete for things like who gets into Ranger school or Seals. I'm betting Nicholas would get in either and Ben would say, "Why did you do that, Nicholas? That's silly."
That is amazing! They are so imaginative, I love it.
What did Ben choose as the soundtrack to his epic battles? Some heavy metal he stole from your high school collection?
