It seems like I've been obsessing over Ol' Lumpy Leg forever now.
In May, I chickened out of having surgery for Elaine and opted to wait for Patric to return.
We had our follow-up with the surgeon yesterday, who confirmed that although slow, she's healing. No surgery; I can stop obsessing.
He did say, "Well, it looks like it's a little late to caution you to keep this area out of the sun while it heals."
It really has been forever that we've all been obsessing over Nicholas and his inches-thick medical file. Poor boy has croup and went to the doctor yesterday after scaring the phooey out of us the night before with his raspy coughing. Doctor said to be worried if he gets lethargic. Lethargic would ring an alarm bell anyway in this one.

I hate the croup! Hate it! You would never imagine such horrible sounds could come from a little body. Hope he is all over that very soon.
Super thankful Lumpy escaped the knife!
Lethargic is a VERY scary word in regard to your brood! And then the belated sun warning, as if that could have been complied with...
Lumps and croup be gone!
You would think with my job, compliance would be a sure carry-over into the rearing of these people. Yet they still mostly have to remind me to apply sunblock.
Yes, the sounds from the seal are awful.
Lumpy, Croupy, what other 'dwarf' names can we come up with? Am glad all ok and there is nothing serious about which to worry. What was the diagnosis on the lump anyway?
