With grades back to an acceptable level, all around, the children were lifted from being grounded--just in time for us to put them in the car and take them to the beach.
So, we had some long sleeves and flannel shirts, but still--the beach!
And summer colored manicures.
And despite the cold and lack of swimming suits, they were undeterred.
And we found that when you instigate the everyone-helps-everyone rule, a game of Trivia Pursuit doesn't take five days.
Sharks in the aquarium--better than in the wild.
And then we drove home, through a late-March snow storm (sigh).
