It is a little ironic that this scene took place at a local bow hunting expo--The Bone Collector.
Nicholas immediately started saving and planning for his first bow purchase; I don't think he's quite put together what all is involved.
Meanwhile, they did come home with some new kitchen knives that Nick calls his own, uses dutifully to slice his tomatoes, cleans, and puts back in the drawer. Kid won't brush his teeth, but he can do this.
