Our Month of Crazy Is Over

 Daddy comes home this weekend.

 The day that I get on a plane early in the am to leave town for the week.

 The day after I take the kids up to meet grandma and grandpa airplane for a couple of weeks of Kansas fun.

Daddy will meet them all there early next week.

And I might just hang back for a day or more, maybe just all by myself...

How odd.



So We Had All These Sugar Cookies

 And a rainy Saturday ahead of us.

 So I invited the neighbor kids over.

To decorate and eat them all. 

The Last Swim Meet

 We arrived in our finery.

 Were reflective?

 There we go, had snow cones.

Right before it was rained out.

Alida loved the race she made, and was sad not to get to do the backstroke race she was entered in.

Elaine, well she made it half-way across the pool with her coach before screaming out--"I don't want to do it!"

She was not entered in the backstroke.

I missed the boys' swim entirely. 

Weekend Before Last

Daddy was able to come home for a day.

At least he could do the ceremonial jump all over daddy duty with the aid of water this time.

And this little gem of a water park--just down the street.  We live there now.

Swimming Suits and Christmas Dresses

That's what little girls are made of.

How fitting we were making sugar cookies and she chose the Christmas dress.

And it is a Pleasure to Announce

That the yahoos made it through Kinder and passed to the first grade.

Both of them.

Whew.

Onward first-graders.  Onward.
