Army Amassing

We've seen some big spiders in our day,

 

we've never really seen them amassing.

Garden spiders are all over the new place. After explaining to the kids that they are good for the garden, they became crazy protective of the one that made camp on our front porch the other day. Their dad is not allowed to relocate him.

But, he has nothing on the one that I did relocate at the Memphis house in 2009, so I can accept our new tenant.

Spiders In My Belly!

Last night Elaine sat next to me on the couch squirming.

I asked her why she was always moving around so much.

She started to itch her belly and move around even more of course.

What is wrong with you?

"Mommy, there are spiders in my belly! See?"

And she continued to tickle her own belly and squirm.

"There are?! Oh my goodness!"

"Don't worry mommy, I'm just pretending."

Whew, that was giving me great concern child.

And yes, the girl wore the pink dress, the purple headband, and the not shown red Dorothy shoes to school this morning. They love no-uniform-Fridays.
