And They All Lived Happily Ever After

This horse won the race.

And the king married a princess.
(I'm not sure that's legal, but everyone was pleased.)

I love that they can tell stories with a beginning, middle, and end that are somewhat coherent. It cracks me up.

My Mother's Day Gift

I am the jeggings-wearing princess. I live in the castle
I married the pirate, who dresses like Batman, who lives in the boat. The pirate is obviously currently on deployment, because this princess wouldn't allow that mustache.
That is our family below. I got great hair extensions.
The math of our family didn't really turn out 1 plus 2 equals three, backwards in mirror-talk, but it kind of did if you take it times two.

Mother's Day Weekend

We met halfway between our now two homes.

We didn't take a single picture.

There was LOTS of swimming, even sans water wings for the boys!

My biggest gift: grass decided to grow here on our big flood fix while we were away.

That, and the Lilly of the Valley Patric bought me to plant at our new, final home that we are quickly approaching moving to.

Posting will slow now, if you haven't noticed already.

You Clean Up Pretty Well

You can hardly tell that we spent most of the weekend knee deep in mud trying to fix my fence-line. And the remaining part: painting, changing a faucet, trimming trees when it wasn't raining and sometimes when it was, cleaning, clearing out my attic, and chasing kids.
